Penfield Children’s Center has been helping children with cognitive and developmental delays in the Milwaukee area since 1967.  The Croquet Ball is an annual  fundraising event based on a croquet match and a silent auction. For the past 7 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing illustrators to create posters for the event. The posters are then auctioned off with all proceeds going to Penfield.

2017 was Penfield's 50th anniversary. To help celebrate the moment we created a commemorative book highlighting the top 50 posters.

After several years of working with illustrators from around the world, we started looking in our own backyard and reached out to the local art school, MIAD (Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design). We teamed up with illustration classes and gave them this poster project as an assignment. The students got real world experience with critiques from art directors and creative directors in the industry.
