Summertime is made for brats on the grill. But by August, sales of Johnsonville brats begin to slump. So, to help reverse that trend, we leveraged the little-know, National Bratwurst Day and turned it into a National Holiday – Bratsgiving Day.
12 Days of Bratsgiving We launched the video through our social channels several weeks before August 16th in order to propel momentum and celebrate the 12 Days of Bratsgiving. Each day we encouraged participation from our fans by giving away fun, festive Bratsgiving gifts. Here are just a few samples:
In-Store We created authentic Bratsgiving Day cards and gave them away at Wisconsin's largest grocery store chain, Pick N' Save.
Bratsgiving Photo Card Generator We gave fans the opportunity to create and customize
their very own electronic Bratsgiving Day photo cards.
